Come aboard our char­ming woo­den boat and enjoy a trip across the Sal­za Reser­voir that you’ll never for­get. Be ama­zed by the towe­ring rock faces, some rea­ching up to 500 meters high, that line its shores. Lis­ten to the roman­tic water­fall as it bab­bles mer­ri­ly at the end of the lake. Immer­se yours­elf in the tran­qui­li­ty that accom­pa­nies you throug­hout the enti­re jour­ney.

Look for­ward to an extra­or­di­na­ry adven­ture whe­re you can expe­ri­ence this mys­te­rious, fjord-like natu­ral land­scape exclu­si­ve­ly. No path leads around the lake, mea­ning its full beau­ty can only be admi­red from the water.

Glide into the pleasure!

A boat­man will accom­pa­ny you on your appro­xi­m­ate­ly 80-minu­te tour across the 5,500-meter-long and up to 150-meter-wide Sal­za Reser­voir. While he skillful­ly navi­ga­tes the boat, he will pro­vi­de you with infor­ma­ti­on about ever­y­thing you want to know about the lake and its histo­ry.

Our NAVIA-Zil­le awaits you – in almost any wea­ther – from May 1st to Sep­tem­ber 15th.

The NAVIA jet­ty is loca­ted at the begin­ning of the lake, past the boat­hou­ses. You board via a gang­plank with steps lea­ding down to it.

A Little Boat ABC

A Zil­le is a flat-bot­to­med water­craft with straight sides that taper to a point at the bow. It has a shal­low draft and is very sta­ble. Small Zil­les are stee­red and pro­pel­led with a rud­der. The NAVIA Zil­le on the Sal­za reser­voir has an elec­tric motor, is 10 meters long, 1.8 meters wide, built from local wood, and can accom­mo­da­te appro­xi­m­ate­ly 12 peo­p­le.

On a sun­ny day, the Sal­za Reser­voir enchants ever­yo­ne. But even when the sky is a subt­le gray, the lake deve­lo­ps a uni­que magic that is impos­si­ble to resist. Tha­t’s why the boat tours take place in almost any wea­ther.
